I just bought this book and it starts out all wrong. Chapter 1 starts out: "This book is a continuation of what we discussed in its first part, that is, Raspberry Pi 2. In this book, you learned about the basics of Raspberry..." What is the author talking about here? I did a search and could find nothing titled "Raspberry Pi 2" by the author... I'm confused. My first impression is that the information presented is vague and without any references. I will read on into the book and try to make sense of what the author is talking about...there seems to be a lot the author is assuming the reader already knows...Is there some sort of reference that goes with this book?Product details

I have a project that I am working on that needed a simple control system. I had been told that a Raspberry device was required, however, I knew nothing about it. This changed when I got hold of this book. It has given me the basic understanding I need without all the baggage that other books have. I can now get started and delve deeper into this interesting topic.
for "advanced" course i would expect far more detailed approach. i couldn't find the logic behind such a composition of chapters, and the focus is not on understanding but rather on configuration. as for me, i'd just change "advanced" for "easy" in a title and then everything would be ok.
Easy tips and keys. The book looks easy to follow for beginners. This one was my good choice.
If you buy a bare bones board with no knowledge of what to do with it, this little tome would be of help to you. Not any new stuff in it, though.
wow i didn't know anything about Raspberry , but this book was an amazing introduction too it, well written and clear i totally recommend it
I knew nothing about RASPBERRY device. Due to this book I found out what it is. I understood how to use RASPBERRY as a router. This book gave me the basic understanding of RASPBERRY, I got what I needed. Now, I know what it is, how it works and how it will help me in my deeds.
It is a very informative book and it is certainly a great help if you have interest in technology. Every chapter helps me to understand about Raspberry Pi 2 easily. This guide covers many of the basics of the Raspberry Pi 2 and is perfect source of information and ideas for your projects. Easy to understand language, good management of content, this book is excellent if you want to learn fast and for a long time.
You will learn tips and tricks for Raspberry Pi 2 and what operating systems one should use. I would recommended this book.
