Perfect for someone under 12. Not a serious introduction.
Very informative and easy reading.
I did not have much knowledge about Islam religion but I had heard about it from friends. So, I was eager to know the positive aspects of religion and I was amazed to know about Islam from this book. The book is perfectly written in simple language.
Not being religious I'm not sure why I decided to read this. I am glad I did though. It hasn't made me religious but it really does give a good insight into the religion, and how it shares some roots with other religions. I thought it is well written and very informative.
Enough of 'witch hunt', looking at our chaotic western society, low morals, drugs, divorce rate, etc, - muslim world looks pretty good. They have everything orginized, regulated, and kept to a high standard! In Islam women do have human rights, and they also remember that they're women - not men...
A good, informative, unbiased read, minus anti-muslim propaganda...
Picked up this book to read about Islam and try to get a better understanding other than what many uniformed people were saying. The book covered the history of Islam and was very thorough in giving me a base of unbiased knowledge. If you are interested in learning the truth about Islam, I would recommend reading this book.
Being relatively uniformed about Islam, I appreciated the fact that this text was easy to understand. It covers the most important aspects of the religion in comprehensive terms and rhetoric. Christians who read this may be surprised to discover how closely their beliefs mirror Islam. I highly recommend this book.
